This year marks the beginning of our 92^nd year of service in Marion and Polk counties.  Our volunteers are busy providing services following home fires, collecting life-saving blood donations, educating citizens in disaster response and first aid & CPR.  If you would like to support our vital services by making a secure financial contribution, click here

Real Heroes to be Honored

On Thursday, September 4, 2008, the Willamette Chapter of the    American Red Cross will honor local citizens at the fourth annual REAL HEROES Breakfast. The event is held in September not only because it is National Disaster Preparedness Month but also as a time when we  recall the incredible heroism of so many Americans following the attacks of September 11^th.

In addition to honoring individuals from the local community, the event is    a fundraiser for Red Cross Services in Marion & Polk counties. The  2007 event raised over $56,000 to support disaster relief efforts, health and safety services and youth education programs...   More Info.
