91+ Years of Service in the Marion and Polk Counties

Since it's founding in 1917, perhaps nothing has characterized the Willamette Chapter more than its ability to respond rapidly to crises and to delivery services whenever and wherever they are most needed throughout Marion and Polk counties.  Virtually all of these services have been delivered by volunteers who have trained for the responsibility and privilege of helping their neighbors in times of need.

For 91 years, thousands of volunteers have lent a helping hand.  They have:

  • rolled bandages
  • filled care packages
  • collected donations
  • organized nurses, doctors and relief workers
  • taught lifesaving courses including CPR/AED, Babysitting, First Aid and Water Safety
  • collected and shuttled lifesaving blood donations
  • helped members of our military stay connected with their families
  • trained emergency relief workers
  • responded to devastating fire
  • assisted flood victims
  • traveled to hurricanes, fires and other disasters to bring relief to thousands

Thanks to you, our efforts will continue for another 90 years - and beyond - because it is through your incredible generosity of spirit, time, blood and money, that the Willamette Chapter has been able to stand ready, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.  We couldn't help our neighbors without your generous support.
